When I was a teenager, my mom bought me some knock-off underwear from K-Mart. I never even checked to see what the brand was. One day I was at Tina's house and happened to be wearing baggy pants that tended to sag a little. Tina saw the brand name of my underwear and immediately started teasing me. Turned out that the brand name was "BIGYANK". From that day on, anytime I saw her she would call me "Bigyank". She gave me that nickname and it stuck for many years.
