When I think about Tina...

When I think about Tina I think of: beautiful face, curly hair up in a bun, overalls, big smile, lovely voice, hugs, teasing, sarcasm, funny faces, yahtzee, chili cheese dip, playful,a really great mom, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. Tina never failed to remind me that she had had to nurse me once when I was a baby because my mom was in the hospital. She always tried to use that as blackmail on me :) Leksa and I just thought it was super weird. I remember watching "Nacho Libre" for the first time with Tina and her kids. We all laughed so hard the whole time we watched it and then had fun quoting it to each other for the rest of the day. Tina always called me "Baylee-wick"--one of my favorite nicknames. :) She came to my house for New Years Day 2013 and made an entire Christmas Day feast!! It was the first time she had ever cooked a turkey ("her first butterball!") and she forgot to season it :) but it turned out really well! She made stuffing in the microwave and put so much salt on the corn that none of us could eat it haha! but it was a great meal and we had such a good time together, laughing at her cooking :). We ate, talked, and played nerts. I'm really glad she came to our house that day. Her chili cheese dip is legend with pretty much everyone I know. I also have a lot of memories of her singing--especially "The Rose". I love that all my aunts and uncles sing together. Tina and I drove up to Boise and back together for Leksa's graduation. It was just the two of us. We talked all about Dan (who I was dating at the time) and that I was going to get married soon. It was really great having all those hours to talk with each other.
